Happy Valentines day everyone! I just couldn’t resist going to the office on a Sunday to get these awesome pics of Kim and James up on the blog. They were such a fun couple to work with and we all laughed through the entire session.
I love this next set of images. Her eyes were too pretty to not do some close ups.
Sunday night Adrienne and I drove out to Fort Worth for a date night. It so happened that I also had an engagement session in downtown Ft. Worth that day. I’m so sneaky!
Katie and Aaron are getting married at Roseland Plantation next April and after yesterday’s session I can’t wait to capture their day. They’re a super fun couple and we had a blast. If you’re looking for a place to get married, Roseland is second to none.
After the session Adrienne and I went to a restaurant and watched Tony Romo throw 3 interceptions.
I drove off to Las Colinas Tuesday afternoon to shoot an e-session for a mid-october wedding (it’s never too late for an e-session). Kimberly and Marc were a great couple and a blast to work with. The first thing Kimberly said was that she didn’t want too many “posey” pictures. After I did a little dance in my head we went off and got some fantastic shots.
I first saw these Mustang statues as a kid and went back there when I first started taking pictures. I would have posted some, but they’re all on film and I don’t feel like scanning 35mm tonight.
Enough of the horses, let’s get to the session!
John and Paul, or George and Ringo?
Who said living in Texas during the summer was a good idea? Today was hot. The humidity was somewhere around 100 percent and the sweat was just dripping. Jeremy and Kristina were such troopers during our session. No drop of sweat was too much to handle, and no pose was too uncomfortable.
Storytime: Jeremy had planned on proposing to Kristina in a hot air balloon. The crisp air and privacy of the balloon seemed distinctly romantic to Jeremy. But each time they would try to ride the ballons something kept them away. Enter: The Game of Life. While playing the board game one evening, Kristina looked away after landing on the “get married” square. When she looked back, Jeremy presented her with the ring.
