This past Saturday I traveled to Flower Mound Texas to shoot a wedding I’ve been looking forward to for a long time. Kim and Mark aren’t like any of my other couples this year. They’re already married…25 years to be exact. Kim never had a real wedding. They just “ran off and got married.” For their 25th anniversary, they had an extra special re-commitment ceremony at the fantastic Chapelle de Fleurs.

Kim’s daughter Mysha was her only bridesmaid. It was funny to see Mysha give wedding tips to her mother throughout the day.

Their son William played piano during the cocktail hour.

And then, there was dancing…

The toast to their parents will go down as one of the best in history. Great job William and Mysha!

Heather emailed me a few months back and asked if I was available for her wedding date. Sadly, I was booked and I wasn’t going to be able to shoot her wedding. However, she asked me if I could do her bridals and I happily obliged. We shot the entire session in front of First Presbyterian church in Tyler. My fiance used to live in that area and every time I drove by it I told myself I should shoot a session there. It’s an awesome church with some great exteriors.

Wow, what a great way to end the month. Candice and Alex’s wedding at the Castle on the Lake in Jacksonville was super fun to shoot. This place as so many cool spots and neat exteriors. I can’t wait to shoot there again.

Alex just graduated from the Army Ranger school, which is something I could never do.

I was extremely excited to work with my good friend and amazing videographer Vanessa McKellar. Her work is awesome and I cannot wait to see the video from this wedding.
